Share a little glimpse of September/October where you live. A simple phone photo is perfect — it could be the colours of the season, an interesting doorway, a landscape, a curious detail, or anything that feels like September/October to you. [important – read before submitting]

What happens next?
Submitted photographs will be reviewed before appearing in the gallery. The gallery can be found under Free in the website menu.

IMPORTANT – Photos sent by email will not be included in the collection.

Accepted file formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG, or WEBP
Maximum file size: 5MB

If your image doesn’t upload, please try reducing the file size or using a different image format.

Photos will be reviewed before being added to the gallery. Not every photograph can be guaranteed inclusion, and images may be cropped, resized, or creatively adapted as part of the design process.

Please only upload photographs you have taken yourself or have permission to share.

Please note:

  • Only images suitable for this project will be included in the final gallery.
  • Submissions close on 31 October. The closing date may be extended or brought forward if needed, depending on the number of submissions received.
  • Copyright & Ownership: You certify that you are the sole creator and copyright owner of the photograph, or have explicit permission from the owner to submit it. The image must not infringe upon anyone else’s intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Creative Usage Rights: You retain the ultimate copyright to your work. By submitting, you grant Well Loved Journals a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to display your image in our public ‘Seasonal Glimpses’ gallery.
  • Adaptation Permission: You grant us permission to crop, resize, overlay textures, or creatively adapt your image to be used within free community crafting resources (such as downloadable printable postcards or tags) shared via our newsletter, site, or Patreon.
  • Curation Discretion: To protect the energy of our small studio, submissions are manually reviewed before publication. Submission does not guarantee inclusion in the final gallery or resources.
