You will need 2 journal cards for each covered paperclip, along with one regular-sized paperclip and a 10″ x 1″ strip of paper.
(You may wish to use longer paperclips, but it is not necessary).
Instructions
1. Cut out your chosen journal cards and a strip of paper (10″ x 1″).
2. Fold the strip of paper in half and then half again, to create 4 equal sized sections.
3. Flatten out the paper strip and then refold as shown above, keeping 4 equal sized sections.
4. Use the paperclip to secure the two central sections together.
5. Glue the 2 end sections over the Paperclip.
6. Glue the covered paperclip to the centre of one of the cards. Then apply glue, as indicated in the image above, to attach the second card.
7. Press the two cards firmly together, ensuring the covered paperclip is securely glued to both cards and the top edges of both cards are properly joined.
8. Once the glue is dry your covered paperclip is ready to use.
9. Covered paperclips are perfect to add to junk journal or crafting projects to neatly clip together documents, photos, and ephemera.
