Featured Image: Nature meets vintage digital kit (buy now)

This week my desk has been scattered with half-finished pieces, colour swatches, and a few happy accidents I can’t wait to use. For this ‘nature meets vintage kit’, I have been mixing bold, modern botanical shapes with delicate vintage details — the kind of contrast that I love in my junk journaling kits.

The Inspiration
I have spent hours exploring and combining botanical illustrations and vintage ephemera — a little nature, a little history, and a lot of texture. I love combining organic shapes with aged paper, handwriting, and old photographs.
In the photo above, you might notice:
- Hand-drawn botanical details
- Vintage book and document textures
- A rather determined bee 🐝
- Earthy browns balanced with unexpected pops of colour
One of my favourite things about photographing my desk mid-project is that it captures the creative mess — the not-yet-arranged, the scraps, and the moments before a design feels “finished.” Even once a project is complete, this stage is still my favourite part to look back on.
How the finished kit looks…
